When dematerialization is at the service of the fight against fraud

Document fraud is increasing, more than 40% last year according to the french Ministry of the Interior, and is very costly to businesses. The RESOCOM figures speak for themselves, it would cost over 474 million euros every years to insurers.

The solution is to secure sales just before the contract signature in agency. By digitizing clients documents, it allows to create a digital file, but you can also perform validity checks in real time.

This is a smart dematerialisation. The elimination of paper, the automatic filling of underwriting tools using information extracted from documents, but also the automatic processing of records allows staff to save time and concentrate on his heart of business. But even before signing the contract, fraudulent, or inconsistent records are highlighted with consistency checks of the MRZ, but also UV and IR controls, previously reserved for police services.

Fraudsters techniques' are more and more sophisticated and services offered to professionals should follow this development. A commissioner of the central management of the PAF incites for vigilance from traders: "People must be educated to recognize the documents security. Some activities as merchants, bankers, employers must be watchful. (source Leprogres.fr)
